Trade Into Cash ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information when you use our website at tradeintocash.com ("Platform").

1. Information We Collect

Information you do not provide directly. When you visit our Platform, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• Pages visited and the device type referenced in the URL (e.g., "iphone," "samsung-galaxy")
• Zip code pages visited
• Actions taken on the page (page views, call button clicks, text button clicks, consent checkbox interactions)
• A hashed (anonymized) version of your IP address — we never store your raw IP address
• General browser and device type (via standard HTTP headers)

Information from phone and text interactions. When you call or text a Buyer's Twilio phone number listed on our Platform, our telephony provider (Twilio) may log:

• Your caller phone number (caller ID)
• The date, time, and duration of the call or message
• The content of SMS/text messages sent to a Buyer's listed number
• A recording of inbound phone calls (see Section 5 below)

We do not collect your name, email address, payment information, or any other directly identifying information unless you voluntarily submit it through a contact form.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Understand how sellers find and interact with buyer listings so we can improve the Platform
• Route inbound calls and text messages to the appropriate local Buyer
• Provide Buyers with logs of inbound calls, texts, and page performance metrics via a secure portal
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Platform
• Comply with legal obligations

3. TCPA Consent and Text Messaging

Before you can initiate contact with a Buyer via phone or text, you are required to check a consent checkbox on the Buyer's listing page. By checking that box, you provide express written consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) to receive calls and text messages from that specific Buyer.

Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Message and data rates may apply.

The content of SMS messages sent to our Buyer phone numbers is logged and made available to the corresponding Buyer in their private portal for the purpose of following up on inquiries.

4. Call Recording Disclosure

Inbound calls placed to Buyer phone numbers listed on this Platform may be recorded. By placing a call to a number listed on this Platform, you consent to the recording of that call.

Call recordings are stored securely and are accessible only to the corresponding Buyer and Trade Into Cash. Recordings are used solely for business and quality purposes and are not sold to third parties.

If you do not wish your call to be recorded, do not call numbers listed on this Platform.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• With Buyers: Inbound caller phone numbers, SMS message content, and call recordings are shared with the Buyer assigned to the specific listing you contacted. This is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the Platform.
• With service providers: We use Twilio for telephony services and Supabase for secure data storage. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy and security policies.
• For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Trade Into Cash, our users, or others.
• In a business transfer: If Trade Into Cash is acquired, merges with another company, or undergoes a change in ownership, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. IP addresses are hashed using SHA-256 before storage and are never stored in raw form. Access to Buyer portal data is protected by authenticated login and row-level security controls.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain analytics event data, call logs, SMS message logs, and call recordings for as long as necessary to provide services to our Buyers and to comply with legal obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of information associated with your phone number.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics services. All analytics data is collected via our own first-party tracking endpoint and stored in our own database.

We may use localStorage in your browser to remember your Supabase credentials if you access a buyer or admin portal on this domain. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

9. Children's Privacy

This Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your information
• Opt out of text communications by replying STOP

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 12.

11. Third-Party Services

Our Platform relies on the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Twilio — telephony, call routing, SMS, and call recording
• Supabase — secure database storage
• Netlify — web hosting and serverless functions

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective upon posting. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
